
Our Story
Our Origin
We are an original bubble tea vendor from Taiwan. In 2017 we founded our first stores in the busy Ximending shopping area and the famous Shilin Night Market. Since then, we have expanded into a dozen countries in Europe and Australia and are working on introducing our delicious offerings to more people around the world.
Our Name
Our name Bonboncha is a play on the word “bon” across different languages. In French, it means good as in bonjour. In English, it refers to candies such as bonbons. In Chinese, it conveys the fantastic taste of our tea.
Our Recipes
Our milk tea experts in Taiwan are constantly experimenting with the best ingredient to make the perfect milk tea for you. We also strive to adapt to local tastes and incorporate local ingredients whenever possible while delivering the authentic Taiwanese flavor.
Our Ingredients
Many of our ingredients are imported straight from Taiwan to help us create an authentic drinking experience anywhere in the world. To ensure that our drinks are as fresh as possible, we also make use of local dairies and fruits in our offerings.

Timeline
2017
We opened our first stores in the bustling Ximending and Shilin Night Market in Taipei, creating a local sensation.
2021
Our flagship store in Paris, across from the Palais Garnier opera house, opened for business, followed by 11 other European countries.
2022
We expanded into the Australian market with stores opening in Perth.
